We collect only what the service needs to work:

• Account details — your email, plus a display name if you add one.
• Order info — the tickets you buy or sell, order references and payment status.
• Wallet addresses you choose to save — refund addresses (buyers) and payout addresses (sellers). These are public receive addresses only.
• Support messages — whatever you send in a support ticket, and the email you give us.
• Basic usage data — standard logs and cookies that keep you signed in and the site secure.

Your information lets us:

• Process your orders and refunds and deliver your tickets.
• Sign you in, show your tickets and orders, and let you manage your account.
• Answer your support requests.
• Keep the platform secure and stop fraud and abuse.

You pay in crypto, straight from your wallet to a public receive address. We never collect or store card numbers, bank details, seed phrases or private keys.

Keep in mind that crypto transactions are recorded on a public blockchain, which sits outside our control.

A handful of trusted providers help us run The Seat Market — our hosting and database provider, and the third-party flight-search partner on our travel pages. Each only handles the data it needs to do its job.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your cart. We don't use them to build advertising profiles.

We hold your information for as long as your account is active, or as long as we need it to run the service and meet legal duties. Ask us to delete your account and its data whenever you like.

You can view and update your account details any time, and ask us to access or delete your data. To make a request, email support@theseatmarket.com from the address on your account.
